WPC Silence: Stillness, solitude, serenity

When you need to unwind, to clear the space in your head and to recharge your batteries, nothing can compare with the quiet solitude and serenity of an isolated beach. My daughter and I experienced this in yesterday’s early morning walk along the KwaZulu-Natal coastline between Umzumbe and Pumula.

The cool blue ocean, the muted sounds of waves lapping on the golden beach and the stillness of the white clouds created the illusion that we were lost in a world of our own.
