Beautiful, ons het nie die mooi skulpies by ons in die Kaap nie, maar ek dink dit is omdat die see so erg woes is, teen die tyd wat dit op die strand uitspoel is dit alreeds fyngemaal deur die getye se woede….

Dit is die probleem, ja. Ek weet daat na Struisbaai se kant toe is baie mooi skulpies. Ons het ook net sekere inhamme waar ons skulpe kan kry. Jy moet jou getye ken en weet waar om te soek.

We played with those tiny shells back in the island in the late 70s, early 80s 😄

We love collecting them. My daughter cleans them with a bleach solution and then polishes them with baby oil once a month. They are a beautiful sight.

Hester, dit is pragtige skulpe. Ek verbeel my altyd as ek een optel, dat die skulp paaie gespoel het waar ek nooit sal kom nie. ñ Wêreld gesien het wat net God van weet. ☼

Ons het ook op google gaan kyk hoe ons dit kan behandel Daar is spesiale skulp-olies, maar hulle sê ook dat baba-olie net so goed is.
