WPC Structure: Man made

On our way back from our beach-walk on a hot summer’s day, we often rest in the shade under an old tree before tackling the long uphill walk to our house. We love lying back on the cool green grass, watching the clouds drift by. On this particular day when the photos were taken, there wasn’t a cloud in the sky and we enjoyed the sight of the man made structures – electric high voltage wires against the backdrop of the amazing blue skies. It was the first time that we really took notice of the precision made structures that are used to convey electricity to our homes.

  1. Wonderful to see these pile on structures. Also unbelievable that the electricity moves up and down the lines to provide homes with electricity.

  2. Perfect take on the challenge. Loved the bottom right one, the symmetry.

  3. So waar, Hester. Ons sien nie altyd raak nie. Hierdie strukture fassineer my ook soms. As ek die dag kyk…

  4. Jy laat my, wat neig om net die mooi van die natuur te wil sien, nou sleg op my neus kyk….

  5. Ek verwonder my altyd goe hulle die konstruksies oprig. Hoogtevrees is nie ‘n opsien nie.
    Mooi foto’s

Nice structure! Good choice for the challenge, though was it safe going beneath the transmission lines?

  10. I like the perpective in “wires3”
