WPC Path: A path laid by children

Bench on the trail around the hill Kinderstrand Glenmore

WPC Path

You never know what’s around the corner. It could be everything. Or it could be nothing. You keep putting one foot in front of the other, and then one day you look back and you’ve climbed a mountain  – Tim Hiddleston

These pictures were captured at Kinderstrand (Childrens’ Beach), Glenmore on the South Coast of KwaZulu-Natal. Children from all communities come here to enjoy a beach holiday, a huge treat for those who have never been to the beach before and might otherwise never have the opportunity to play in the sand and swim in the waves.

A trail laid with stepping stones, decorated by the children while the cement was still wet, leads around and over the top of the small hill where benches have been placed at strategic points, granting a scenic view over the beach.

  4. Vredige, veilige en voorspoedige feestdagen!

    Vrolijke groet,

  5. Dit is baie spesiaal
    Geniet jou rustydjie

  6. Hoe goed onthou ek die kinderstrand. Was so twee keer daar as kind saam met die skool.

  7. Dis so mooi. Wens ek kon nou daar sit.

  8. angename memento’s.

  11. Thanks to the children! A stunning South Coast beach… for me, a reminder of the fun to be had on those beaches!! 😉
